For Creative Kids Entering Grades 1–4 | July 6 – August 7 | Northampton, MA
Welcome to Leo’s Room Summer Art Lab—a joyful, home-based art program rooted in creativity, community, and the celebration of diverse voices.
Hosted in our cozy home near Northampton High School, this small-group program is designed for young artists entering grades 1 through 3 who love to make, move, and express themselves.
Each week, kiddos will:
Learn about Black, Brown, and LGBTQ+ artists from around the world
Create original individual art projects
Work together on a collaborative mural
Take daily nature walks and enjoy lots of outdoor play
End the week with a Friday art show for families
At the end of the summer, all kiddos are invited to participate in a Final Gallery Celebration to showcase their work and creativity!
Cost is $450 per week, with multi-week discounts and scholarships available. Hours are 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, and we provide a healthy morning snack each day. Families should pack a lunch and water bottle.
We are intentionally keeping the group small (7 campers per week) to ensure that every child receives care, attention, and space to shine. Spots fill quickly, so we encourage early registration. Once you complete the application form, Adrienne will reach out with a welcome packet and additional info!
